Reminder: DUO Two-Step Verification Deadline has Passed

Hi everyone,

This is a reminder that you need to enroll in two-step verification ASAP if you haven't already! (The deadline was Monday the 18th.) Please do not wait until exams!! You will need to enroll for continued access to UB online services like HUB, UBlearns, and UB Box. To enroll, please visit buffalo.edu/ubit/duo. For more information, please see the message below from University VP and Chief Information Officer Brice Bible:

"Two-step verification protects your account and personal information by requiring a secondary device, like a smartphone or security key, when logging into most UB online services.
To learn more about two-step verification and enable two-step verification for your account, please visit buffalo.edu/ubit/duo. When you begin enrollment, you will need to have at least one of your chosen second-step devices nearby.
If you need assistance with your UBITName account or password, please contact the UBIT Help Center online at buffalo.edu/ubit/help or by phone at 716-645-3542.
Please join me in enabling two-step verification for your UBITName account today to help make our campus community safer."

The process is pretty straightforward, but if you have any questions please see Law IT on the second floor of the Law Library or stop by the CIT Help Desk on the third floor of Silverman Library in Capen Hall.
