24/7 Emotional and Mental Health Support & Self-Care

Post by Student Affairs »

Dear Students:

We are halfway through the semester, and it is easy to let stress and anxiety become overwhelming. It isn't as easy to remember that being successful in school and your career requires you to take care of yourself. We all have time to add a 10-minute mediation or walk into our day or to relax with for a few minutes with a cup of tea.

Need more help? UB Counselng has a variety of self-help resources as well as individual counseling sessions available! Prefer not to talk to a counselor, use TAO or Headspace for yourself! Need more in-depth help managing anxiety or mental health concerns, call 716-645-2720 to schedule and appointment.

Check out these services and more here: https://www.buffalo.edu/studentlife/lif ... eling.html

Want online resources with no counselors involved? Start here: https://www.buffalo.edu/studentlife/lif ... urces.html

Have a mental health emergency? Call Crisis Services at 715-834-3131. The mental health advocates at Crisis Services are extremely kind and helpful.

All these services are free to students!

Always feel free to reach out to me to talk through options and make a plan that works for you!
