The Student Bar Association (SBA) is seeking motivated leaders to be 1L, 2L, and 3L Class Directors.
SBA is composed of 4 Directors from each class, and 1 LLM Director, as well as alternate Directors from each class. Alternate Director positions are offered to students who do not receive the plurality of the votes. Alternate Directors are official class directors, however, an Alternate Director votes in meetings only when an elected Class Director is absent.
SBA Directors are representatives of the law school student body and must be available to attend bi-monthly SBA meetings. Directors manage the law school's mandatory student activity fee by voting in meetings and creating budget policies that oversee the allocation of these student funds to law school student groups, as well as supervise the official calendar of law school student events and activities. Additionally, Directors have the power to problem solve and implement initiatives in all different areas of student life in order to promote the general welfare of the entire law school student body.
