SUMMER LAW CLERK WEBINAR

Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 4 pm ET

On behalf of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Legal & Compliance Group, we are pleased to invite you to attend an informational webinar about our 2025 Summer Law Clerk Program for 1Ls. The Zoom link for the webinar is below (the link will require completing a simple registration form and will be active even while the webinar is live).

Each summer, the New York Fed employs a number of first‐year law students as part of a 10‐week program typically starting in late May. Working within the Legal Function at the New York Fed positions law students at the center of the financial world, with an inside look at how policies, statutes and regulations apply to the work of the nation’s central bank and to national and international markets and economies.

The webinar—on Wednesday, November 13 at 4 pm ET—will introduce the Summer Law Clerk program to prospective applicants. You’ll hear from the program coordinators, their Federal Reserve colleagues, and former summer law clerks about the hiring process (including what’s new this year), onboarding, assignments, and mentoring. We will also cover the Legal & Compliance Group’s efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and other opportunities for law students and new attorneys at the Federal Reserve. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion of the presentation.

The program will be hosted via Zoom and will be recorded. No RSVP is necessary.
