WNY Prosperity Fellowship Program

The WNY Prosperity Fellowship Program is a unique opportunity for students with a passion for economic development and a commitment to Western New York. This prestigious fellowship offers selected students an enriched path to professional growth, networking with local business leaders, scholarship support, and real-world experience through a paid summer internship.

Fellowship eligibility:
  • Current sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students are eligible to apply;
  • Should have a minimum 3.0 cumulative Undergraduate GPA;
  • Candidate should show demonstrated interest—through action or experience—in advancing job creation and economic vitality in WNY;
  • Complete the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the Fellowship application deadline. Please note that you may file a FAFSA using estimated income information and update it once you have completed your current tax return.
  • Fellowship Requirement: Only open to US Citizens or students holding permanent residency. Not intended for international students.
