1/26 deadline Spring 2026 Internship Equity Fund - funding for unpaid internship

Spring 2026 Internship Equity Fund is officially accepting applications in the UB Scholarship Portal through January 26! As a reminder, this funding opportunity is for actively enrolled University at Buffalo students who are pursuing unpaid spring internships with non-profit or government organizations and have a demonstrated financial need.

In an effort to encourage internship participation (and ultimately make the program more equitable), students that have applied to an unpaid internship with a non-profit or government organization-- but are still awaiting confirmation-- may apply through December 26. Students that apply by this deadline will be given a provisional funding decision by January 5. All official decisions are pending completion of a site supervisor verification form by January 26 at 11:59 p.m. Students that apply after December 26 should have a secured internship opportunity.
