The Benjamin and David Scharps Legal Essay Competition is open to juniors at SUNY campuses who are interested in legal issues, or are interested in pursuing a career in the legal field.
Prizes are awarded to students who write the best legal essay on a chosen topic. Information on this year's topic can be found on the Office of Fellowships and Scholarships website.
- First place prize: $1,500.
- Second place prize: $1,000.
