ACS: Panel on D.C. Statehood, Thursday October 29th

Post by Student Life »

Please join UB Law’s American Constitution Society on Thursday October 29th from 6-7pm for our virtual panel, 'What’s at Stake for D.C. Statehood?: Expert and Activist Perspectives.'

Register Here: https://buffalo.zoom.us/meeting/registe ... jTiTzkzbWC

ACS is excited to continue our Statehood series and present this panel featuring Washington D.C.’s Senator Paul Strauss and the President of Students for D.C. Statehood, Noah Wills.

It will be a fascinating discussion on what D.C. statehood could look like, how to get there, and why it is important for D.C. citizens. The panel will also delve into an activist’s perspective, specifically the work young activists do to achieve their goal.

We hope to see you there! Please email Dorothy Shuldman (deshuldm@buffalo.edu) with any questions.
