Reminder: Instructions for Registering for Lexis and Westlaw Classes - January 2021

When? Lexis and Westlaw general introductory classes will be taught during the first week of the January 2021 1L Bridge term. Registration for these classes will take place on the Lexis and Westlaw websites starting on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Who? These classes are:
REQUIRED for students in LAWR class taught by Professors Long and Odunsi.
OPTIONAL and strongly suggested for LAWR students in classes taught by Professors McDuff, Paskey, Reilly, and Rowan.
How Many Classes? Please register for ONE Lexis and ONE Westlaw class.

Registration instructions:
• From the Law Library's homepage under “Law Databases” pulldown menu, click on Westlaw (Law School) link https://research.lib.buffalo.edu/westlaw-law-school
• Sign on to Westlaw. After signing onto Westlaw, scroll down and click on Campus Events and Webinars for a list of the on-campus trainings.
• Select the training session with your preferred time. Click on Event Details. A pop-up box will appear with all relevant details about the date/time/Zoom link. Click on Register now to complete your registration. To get your preferred time, reserve your space early.
• You must have your Westlaw password to register for and to attend a class. If you do not have your password, email asklaw@buffalo.edu
