Hi everyone,
I am writing to inform you that several titles from our Course Reserve Collection have gone missing over the course of the Fall Semester. If you have any of the titles below in your possession, they are not allowed to be taken out of the library and should be returned immediately to either the service desk or the drop box outside of the second floor main entrance. Please note, removing materials from the library without authorization is a violation of the Code of Student Conduct.
1L Textbooks:
• Dressler, Criminal Law 7th ed. - 1 copy missing
• Franklin, Tort Law, 10th ed. - 1 copy missing
• Bluebook, 21st ed. – 1 copy missing
Upper-Level Textbooks:
• Percival, Environmental Regulation, 8th ed. - BOTH copies missing
• Rose, Fundamental Trial Advocacy, 3d ed. - 1 copy missing
If casebooks continue to go missing, we will be forced to secure them behind the Service Desk to prevent theft, in which case they will only be available for 2-hour loans when the desk is staffed. These titles amount to over $1200 in library expenditures and we will not be purchasing replacements. Please return them so they can be made available for use by your colleagues in future semesters.
Thank you,
Brian
