Join the IP Law Society at UB Law and Buffalo Sports and Entertainment Law Society for an evening with a Hollywood star: Mark Butler-Swiech, IP Counsel at NBCUniversal. Mark primarily handles copyright and trademark matters for the TV show Chicago P.D. This is a great opportunity for students with an interest in either IP or entertainment law to hear from someone who has worked at all levels of the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, from representing studio and talent clients to handling legal matters for a major weekly television show. This hybrid event will be available for students who want to attend either in person or on Zoom.
