Join UB CoLab for its annual Startup Boot Camp focusing on developing the skills of budding entrepreneurs and innovators. Startup Boot Camp is a 3-day experience where you will learn from experienced founders, conduct sales experiments, and pitch your idea for prizes! Learn to avoid the mistakes that stop so many founders short, validate your riskiest hidden assumption, and ask for help in a way that gets you the access you need. Bring Your Idea to Market! Masterclass Series

Join Celine Krzan and Madison Neurohr for an engaging discussion on “Bring Your Idea to Market: A Guide to Transform Your Innovation into a Business!” This hour long session will give budding entrepreneurs, innovators, and general students the skills needed to develop their ideas and identify how to make these ideas a reality. AI Hackathon Challenge!

In partnership with Tech Buffalo, UB School of Computer Science & Engineering, the UB Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and UB School of Management, the UB Startup and Innovation Collaboratory is proud to launch an AI Hackathon Challenge for Fall 2024. Through an impactful, high intensity, and results oriented challenge, students will have the unique opportunity to innovate and ideate on the current boundaries of today’s industries. Pitch for a Purpose Design Challenge
Monday, October 7th
Through a high-impact competition experience, student teams from the University at Buffalo will respond to a Sustainability design challenge. This design challenge will inspire student productivity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while affording the opportunity for students to work in diverse, collaborative teams. Students will gain experience and knowledge in the intermediate development stage of entrepreneurship. Finally, students will connect with industry experts, expanding their network of connections and knowledge of local and national entrepreneur ecosystems.
