Digital and Print Study Aids at the Library

The majority of law school announcements can be found in this section. However, don't forget to check your class year section as well for information specific to your class.

Digital and Print Study Aids at the Library

Post by student svcs lib »

Hello all,

I hope you are having a great semester so far! I wanted to take a moment as we come to the last month of the semester to remind you of our study guide collection. We have many great guides to help you study for your classes, organize your outlines, and practice both hypos and multiple choice questions.

From our main library website ( https://law.lib.buffalo.edu/) click the Database tab and then select the drop down menu to look at three of our databases:

LexisNexis Digital Library
(https://research.lib.buffalo.edu/lexis- ... al-library)

To find the study aids click "Browse Library" on the left hand column of the page then scroll down to the section titled "Subjects" and click "Study Aid."

West Study Aids
(https://research.lib.buffalo.edu/west-study-aids)

From the West Study Aids page you can either use the search bar or click the sections directly below it to find all the titles for the classes you are taking. You can also click "Content Type" to browse titles by what you are looking for, whether that be multiple choice, overviews, audio lectures, and more.

Remember that West Study Aids is different than West Academic where your text books are located, so make sure you are using the correct URL. The pages look almost identical otherwise.

And new this semester, we are offering access to Aspen Study Aids!

From the main Aspen Study Aids page, you can click "filter by" beneath the search bar to sort through the different titles by category. There are options for all levels and subjects.

Finally, we also have a variety of titles in print! These can be found on the 5th floor of the library between Room 533 (the glass walled classroom) and the student lounge. These cannot be checked out but can be used anytime while you are in the library. Please remember to return them to their place when you finish so your classmates can find them as well!

Best of luck in your studying and remember if you have any questions at all, the library is here to help!

Best,
Austin
