National scholarships with fall deadlines

Any student receiving a Pell Grant and planning to study abroad should consider applying for the Gilman Scholarship for up to $5,000 towards their trip.The deadline for Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 programs is October 3 . The Truman Scholarship is open to juniors with exceptional leadership potential who plan to pursue a career in public service (areas such as government, policy, advocacy, education, or nonprofit leadership). The scholarship provides up to $30,000 towards graduate school and applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals.
