Dear Paid Student Member of the Law Alumni Association,

At a Power Hour open just to our paid members, you will have exclusive access to three of our successful alumni-leaders who will give you tips on how to be successful in any legal job. In a roundtable discussion, they will talk about various career paths and reveal tips for being successful in practice post-law school. All three have a multitude of contacts in numerous practice areas. They will review with you the wealth of options out there – some of which you may not have even thought about pursuing.

Be smart for yourself and take advantage of this benefit of your student membership. It will take place on MONDAY, OCTOBER 21 from 12 pm to 1 pm in Room 533 (IN THE LAW LIBRARY). PLEASE NOTE THE ROOM CHANGE TO 533!

The alumni are:

Ryan P. Crawford ’06, Partner, Gibson, McAskill & Crosby, LLP and current director of the UB Law Alumni Association. He will discuss his work as a litigation attorney, with a focus on the defense of healthcare providers and healthcare organizations; as well as his work as a US Army Reserve Judge Advocate.

Megan A. Gomez ’05, Senior Legal Counsel, Univera Healthcare and current officer of the UB Law Alumni Association. She will talk about being in-house counsel, shifting career paths, and her work as an employment attorney.

Paul C. Parisi ’06, Assistant US Attorney, US Attorney’s Office and former director of the UB Law Alumni Association GOLD Group. He will discuss his career as a federal and state prosecutor in both Buffalo and New York City.
